Introducing Mado, the revived apron dress! The close-fitting, interlocking bib means you can wear it with nothing underneath, even a bra!

The criss-cross straps in the back are adjustable thanks to the placement of buttons, and will emphasize your bare back. The smocked back will keep you comfortable in all circumstances, and of course, the many ruffles add a "twirling skirt" feel, making it perfect for summer dancing!

Details

The pattern is available in sizes 34 to 46. The paper version is delivered in a kraft pouch, complete with explanatory booklet and label! As always, sewing values are already included ;)

Advice pattern

To make Mado you will need:
-2m30 fabric in 1.40m width.

-3m15 of fabric in 1m10 width.

-1 invisible 20cm zip.

-2 20mm buttons.

This pattern includes seam values. They are 1cm. As Mado's cut is quite summery, we advise you to choose a fine, light fabric, which will make it perfect for accompanying you on hot days. As always, a viscose, chambray, cotton or poplin would be ideal.

You can also make Mado in broderie anglaise, but remember to double the bib in an opaque fabric and create a lining for the skirt. Mado can also be worn over a turtleneck in winter, in which case choose a thicker fabric, such as flannel, crepe, or even wool for a very old-school feel.
